Videogame / Visual Novel & Puzzle Game
Map a mysterious land during the Age of Enlightenment.
Draw the border between two warring kingdoms.
Meet the locals. Juggle their demands with the requirements of your mission. Ethical dilemmas, secret plots, strange phenomena… will you be able to bring peace back to the land?
A young cartographer is sent out by his hierarchy into the rural land of his childhood to redraw a frontier: he will gradually discover that this place, which for him was just a set of inky territories, is actually steeped in stories, inhabited by people who have no idea what's going on around them and whose relationship to space is radically different...
The player embodies a land surveyor who explores a rural territory and must make choices that will have an impact on diplomacy, but also on the local population. The game combines visual novel phases and observational puzzles — the two aspects nourishing each other to modify the plot of an interactive story.
This video game has received a grant from the CNC and is currently under development in collaboration with the studio TOHU BOHU.

Deductive Reasoning & Map-Making
Back in the land of your childhood, your royal mission is of the utmost importance: you must map the remote area and draw a border that will restore peace. Your observant eye, your analytical skills, and the measurements you take will be the only tools at your disposal for filling in your empty map.

Discussions & Dilemmas
Whether hostile or friendly, every person you come across will have a secret to tell you or a request to make. The consequences of defining a border between kingdoms are far-reaching, and you'll have to juggle the needs of the locals with your official duties.

Exploration & Investigation
As you continue your survey of the land, you'll start to notice strange phenomena and signs of a secret plot against you. There's much more here than just a map: your forgotten promises, your childhood sweetheart, the history of the land you stand on. Will your sketches bring peace or chaos?
